This workshop brings together experts involved in major Czech, Swiss and international surveys and research infrastructures to share their practical experience with these challenges. The programme will include the Czech–Swiss CORISS project, a field experiment on survey incentives in the European Social Survey, Swiss experience with changes in survey modes and incentive strategies, lessons from the Generations and Gender Programme, and a perspective on data collection for official statistics. Rather than presenting a single solution, the workshop is intended as a space for exchanging experiences: What problems are major surveys currently facing? What methodological innovations have already been tested? What works, what remains difficult, and where do we need to innovate next? The presentations will be followed by a joint discussion with speakers and participants.
