Our data catalogue contains a wide range of different data files, especially of a quantitative nature, ie. from questionnaire surveys.
We cooperate, for example, with the research department of the Institute of Sociology of the ASCR, v.v.i and the Center for Public Opinion Research (CVVM). The data that is made available to the general public through our archive dates back to 2001, and mutual cooperation is still ongoing. Other significant contributions are from the Czech Panel Household Survey (CHPS) from 2015-2020 and from the tracking of research trends in the Czech Republic, which has been carried out by Czech Television in cooperation with the Kantar CZ agency since 2014.
The selection is large, so we highly recommend that you take a closer look at our archived and published data files. We believe that everyone can choose.
Qualitative data
The Medard Archive is an evolving stand-alone digital library of qualitative data from sociological and other social science research. In the ČSDA online catalogue, under the title Medard, you can find information on several stored data files from qualitative surveys as well as on ways to obtain primary data from these surveys. In order to prevent the possibility of the misuse of the information collected within the Medard Archive, the content is stored outside the space accessible from the Internet; only basic information about the performed studies is publicly available.
This catalogue of qualitative data has only a limited scope at the moment, but we have big plans for it in the future.
